Parent Teacher Association

Kia ora koutou,

The Gladstone PTA works to support our school’s requirements with many ‘extras’ that improve our children’s and teachers’ lives – but we can’t do this without help from you, our wonderful community. At the end of each year, many of our families move on to new schools and we welcome new energy and skills from others within the Gladstone whanau.

We’d be grateful if you could take 3 minutes to let us know if you are able to help with any of our school events. We are looking for parents to help with the regular sausage sizzles offered.

Please fill in this form if you can offer some time to make these a success, and feel free to share any other thoughts that you have or email us.

Thank you in advance

Mark Kurtovich and Julie Carter (Co-Chairs)

The Gladstone Community PTA helps coordinate FUN and FUND-raising events to support the whole of the community associated with Gladstone Primary School. All of our children enjoy the benefits of these activities – which in recent years have included covered classroom deck areas, playground facilities, tiger turf, cultural group uniforms, sporting equipment and educational resources.

Many hands make light work and if all of our 600 families helped in one way over the time their children are here, we would never run out of volunteers. There are tonnes of ways you can get involved with the Gladstone Community. Whether it’s a couple of hours manning a sausage sizzle, helping with an IT issue, or supporting one of our fundraising or community-based activities, we have somewhere for you to help.

Whether you can help a little or a lot, we’d love to connect with you! You can email us or join us at one of our meetings. Everyone is welcome. All meetings are held in the school staffroom.
