How to pay your Gladstone accounts – Kindo Update

Thu Sep 22 06:33pm

WE ARE NO LONGER USING THE EDGE FOR MAKING ANY PAYMENTS.

Our Kindo School shop has been upgraded behind the scenes and the new personalised accounts are now available.

You will be able to see any outstanding payments on your account using the Fees and Donations icon.

Plus, you can choose to pay in full or make a part payment on these items.

Your child’s room number will be updated for you, so you don’t have to worry about selecting the right room number anymore!

You can still pay for activities, and pay for Oscar as before, but now you can also pay camp fees, other compulsory fees, as well as donations via KINDO. One-stop payments at long last. As before all this can be done in your own time, it is open 24/7.

Receipts will be emailed to you immediately upon payment for your file reference.

Existing users can log in to your myKindo account.

New users can create an account here.

Read the attachment for more information you need.

END OF TERM LIBRARY BOOK RETURNS

Tue Sep 20 11:43am

Morena Gladstone Families

Last week I sent out an overdue email notice for any books that need to be returned to the library. I would really appreciate it if you could help your little people search for the books. A good way to track them down is to google an image of the book cover (name of the book and author will be in the overdue email sent to you) and I’m sure they will know exactly where to find them!

Returns can be made to the library AT ANY TIME by slotting the books into the returns box at the top of the first flight of stairs.

Yours in books

Tania

We Are Changing the Way You Make Payments on Edge to KINDO

Tue Sep 20 11:32am

Kia ora parents/guardians,

You will be as pleased as we are that at last, we can offer you a one-only system to make all payments through.  We are moving everything to KINDO.

The financial system via the Edge for donations, tech fees and camp payments etc is now officially switched off.

Currently, your child’s account is being migrated to Kindo and it will be completed for you on Thursday 22nd when you will be able to make all payments on KINDO.

Please note that items that are normally listed on KINDO (such as OSCAR and school activities) remain unaffected – they are still on KINDO as usual.  We are only referring to the new information.

Assembly Certificates

Wed Aug 31 06:12pm

Hi everyone

This Friday is the first time in a long while that our children will be having their certificates presented to them personally in the staffroom after assembly. For those of you with younger children this will be a new thing. After our online assembly finishes at around 9:15am the certificates ‘winners’ of the week will come down to the staffroom to hear what the certificate was for and to receive it. This is a Gladstone tradition that we are really happy is starting up again. It will continue each Friday from now on. If your child is the recipient of the week you will receive a letter inviting you to attend. Please feel free to watch the assembly in your child’s class and then come down with them to the staffroom or otherwise just turn up to school at 9:15.

Thanks

Dave

Sausages Sizzles Are Back for 2022

Mon Aug 01 09:39am

Sausage Sizzles are starting up again soon and we need your help.

The Gladstone Sausage Sizzle is a parent-led fun(d) raising event held at school once a month. However, for obvious reasons, we haven’t had the opportunity to hold these fun lunches in 2022 – until now.

We hope to hold the first lunch Sausage Sizzle of 2022 on Tuesday 9th August.

However, in order to run these fun lunch options, we need parents who can give an hour to help with orders, cooking or serving.

If you’re interested in helping out next week or at one of our future sizzle, or if you’d just like more info please email Murray (murray.legrice@gmail.com). This is a fun way to meet more of our Gladstone children, teachers and parents so I hope to hear from you soon.
