Gladstone’s Kapa Haka rōpū provides an opportunity for children to immerse themselves in learning through waiata, dance and performance. We offer both Junior (Year 0-3) and Senior (Year 4-6) groups, where children can grow their leadership and performance skills.

Kapa Haka is supported by several Gladstone teachers and under the guidance of our tutor Angel Mosese and her father, Papa.

Students have a variety of opportunities to perform throughout the year, culminating with a performance at the Albert Eden Cultural Festival at Rocket Park in November each year.

At Gladstone we encourage all children to join our Kapa Haka rōpū. If your child is interested in joining, please contact Meredith Brown or Colin Laing.

For further information and reminders please subscribe to the Kapa Haka group on our School App.

Wednesdays, listen to GTV for timings.
