The July 2018 school holiday programme:
|Children will have the opportunity to participate in both structured and non-structured activities. This will be a combination of craft and recreational activities. |WEEK 1||WEEK 1|
|Monday 9th July – Making a sock puppet is fun! Each one can have special characteristics! They don’t have to be human––animals and aliens and robots are great possibilities as well.||Monday 9th July – Children will be able to view one of the latest releases showing at the Cinemas, followed by a colouring competition in the afternoon.|
|Tuesday 10th July – Children will be able to view one of the latest releases showing at the Cinemas, followed by a colouring competition in the afternoon.||Tuesday 10th July – A baking day with a difference as you will prepare hot soup and scones for the children who are attending skating on Wednesday. You won’t go home empty handed as in the afternoon you will be making donuts.|
|Wednesday 11th July – Check out your cupboards before coming to the holiday programme today and see if you have any empty boxes that you can bring. We will put them all to good use and create some brilliant constructions.||Wednesday 11th July – With winter upon us it is time to venture down to Paradice Ice Skating. Dress warm and bring a change of clothing. Children will have hot soup and fresh home-made scones upon return.|
|Thursday 12th July – Come and check out the wondrous, pirate-themed play zone. Adventure Land is packed with colourful climbing walls, a mystical pirate ship, swing bridges and giant slides, as well as a Tree House area.||Thursday 12th July – Russian Dolls, is a set of wooden dolls of decreasing size placed one inside another. Children will style their theme character and colour in.|
|Friday 13th July – With some wonderful imagination and lots of Sellotape children will make paper blow creatures to take home.||Friday 13th July – Journey up the Sky Tower to discover the biggest view in Auckland and holiday activities to keep you entertained.|

|Monday 16th July – A range of craft activities will be available for children to complete.||Monday 16th July – We are off to the games arcade. Enjoy challenging your friends on the old style space invaders, or simply try your hand at some of the joystick games.|
|Tuesday 17th July – We are off to the Stardome Observatory to experience the wraparound sky and special effects of a planetarium.||Tuesday 17th July – This is a great day to come along in one t-shirt and go home in a completely different one! We will provide t-shirts for children to creatively tie dye and wear home.|
|Wednesday 18th July – Enjoy decorating a cookie box in the morning and baking in the afternoon.||Wednesday 18th July – We are off to the Stardome Observatory to experience the wraparound sky and special effects of a planetarium.|
|Thursday 19th July – Today is all about bouncing fun. Children must bring Jump socks to wear and lots of water to drink.||Thursday 19th July – DIY door letters. Decorate your letter in a range of different textures to hang on your bedroom wall.|
|Friday 20th July – Children will be divided into groups and will set about completing a range of group games throughout the day. Some great prizes for the winning team and spot prizes throughout the day will be awarded.||Friday 20th July – Time to take aim and see how good you are at knocking down the pins. We have a few prizes up for grabs for different point combinations.|
THINGS TO REMEMBER
- Parents to provide morning tea, lunch and a drink, unless stated, not required.
- Children must wear shoes on all outing days, as well as bring a rain jacket.
- Please have all clothing named and ensure all valuable items remain at home.
